Throughout history tumeric has been used for many things from cooking to dying fabrics and cosmetics to traditional medicine in China and India.

It is Curcumin that gives turmeric it’s beautiful yellow color and that also has a range of health benefits such as:

  • Antibacterial
  • Antimicrobial
  • Anti-inflammatory
  • and Antioxidant effects

These qualities make Tumeric a natural powerhouse for aiding with:

  • Cancer
  • Heart disease
  • Alzheimer’s disease

Know YOUR health!

Leaky Gut Syndrome

Do you have bloating, gas, cramps, food sensitivities, body aches & pains?

Yes?

These are "physical signs" YOUR gut is trying to communicate with you!

Listen up!

Intestinal permeability also known as "leaky gut syndrome" is a condition where the lining of the small intestine is damaged.  Tight junctions in the gut which control what particles & food particles passes through the lining of the small intesine, don't work properly.   This allows food, waste and bacteria to leak through the intestines and get into the blood stream causing an imbalance between good & bad bacteria also known as "YOUR gut flora."   What are the main culprits for this bacterial imbalance?   Poor diet, chronic stress, comprising protiens found in unsprouted grains, processed sugar, vegetable oils, artificial sweetners, alcohol, caffeine genetically-modified foods (GMO) and dairy products.

YOUR gut is an incredible part of YOUR body.  It's where 70% of YOUR immune system is located.  The phrase "you are what you eat", couldn't be more true!   YOUR gut is trying to communicate with you!  Pay attention!  YOUR gut provides a pathway for nutients into your bloodstream which turns it into glucose which turns into energy.  YOUR gut walls have tiny openings that allow these tiny particles to pass through.  However, certain elements such as foods and toxins can cause YOUR pathway to vear up AND TAKE A DIFFERENT ROUTE.

" We dont know a lot but we know that leaky gut syndrome exists." says Linda A. Lee, MD, a gastroenterologist and director of the John Hopkins Integrative medicine and digestive center.

Lifestyle modifications, such as those that reduce stress and improve diet, may be among the best ways to treat leaky gut, particularly when no underlying condition is identified.  "chronic disease and chronic inflammation are so often due to lifestyle, "YOU ARE WHAT YOU EAT!"
