Without immunity... there is NO fight!
Hi everyone my name is Tiffini Yamin. I am the owner and creator of Peridot Four Plant Based Detox Formula named in honor of my littlest sister, Tanya who was born August 1973, and my older sister Monique, who passed away August, 2020. August is the month of the Peridot Gem Stone.
Back Story
In 2013 my youngest sister Tanya was diagnosed with Triple Negative Breast Cancer stage 4. (Her first battle with Hotchkins Lymphoma Cancer stage 2b seemed successful with conventional treatments in 1997) HOWEVER, fifteen years later cancer struck again. Her 4 year battle with cancer was an awakening that changed the course of my life. Multiple doctors, treatments, negative results, then the discovery of multiple lesions inside her blood brain barrier started my pursuit in search of something that would target chronic disease and chronic inflammation.
I had no idea what I was looking for but I knew I needed something to cross the blood brain barrier. I trusted my faith, prayed and passionately began my search. I found myself reading about bittermelon, an exotic vegetable that could kill the parasite called Plasmodium, that causes Malaria. Here is where I made the interrelationship to my sister's situation.
When infested cells break away from a growth (metastasizing) they travel to other parts of the body through the bloodstream including the brain. Malaria kills by infecting red blood cells and clogging the capillaries that carry blood to the brain and other vital organs. This process felt close enough pertaining to Tanya's situation and at that point I was desperate to try anything. I called our produce broker of our family catering business, Four Sister's Catering in San Antonio, TX, and asked him if he could get this exotic vegetable to me ASAP. Within 72 hours we made our first batch of what is now called Peridot Four representing the "Peridot" Gemstone and the number “4” representing the “Four Sisters.”
